Puppets on a String

The kids spent a long, glorious week in Maine with my parents. By all accounts it was a fantastic week all around. Kids couldn't have cared less we were there to pick them up. I consider this a sign they had a phenomenal time.

I went up to drop them off and stayed overnight (which totally bummed them out) before coming home the next day. In the morning before I left we went to a puppet show (really marionettes) at the library. It was fantastic. The place was packed, but we stayed long enough to show the master puppeteer our kangaroo and lion marionettes that Mima had found for the kids. We got to ask some questions (like how do you keep all the strings from tangling up?) and take pictures of our favorite characters (the giant spider, the man with the flower hose). It was a really cool show!
