Yes, yes, still downloading my 4,000 pix from this summer. Here are a few from the night we picked Devin up from camp. My favorite is the one of him with Marie, the camp nurse, who lovingly coined the nickname "Twiz" (I chopped it down from Twizzler Boy.) and her son. Love her Scooby Doo scrubs!!
Then some of the counselors (Big John and Moose doing the "Let Me See Your Chicken" dance).
An aside, for all you camp folk on my reader list...why do the counselors always have crazy nicknames? Like Moose and Big John and Soap? Just wondering....
Second to last, but definitely not least, Devin with his site leaders, Chloe and Andy. Chloe must have grown up with a whole mess of brothers. Why else would you want to spend weeks on end with a camp full of smelly little boys? There's a special place in heaven for them, for sure!
When we got home that night Auntie Heather had left a plate of "Bat-Man" brownies and a chalk message for the little camper. Welcome Home!!

ok, the funny name thing is a girl scout/ boy scout thing. YMCA counselors are known by their actual names. Not sure why scouting is different. Maybe Dee, aka Bambi could tell you.
